A little girl at school chose to draw a picture of God. The teacher said to her, “Nobody knows what God looks like.” The girl said, “They will in a minute.”
Everyone from the youngest child to the oldest adult longs to know what God looks like. No one knows, for God is Spirit. We can only know God through Jesus who said to His disciples, “If you have seen me then you have seen the Father.”
Some people try to shape God into their own image. They use various symbols with which to describe their faith. Be it a lotus flower, the star of David or the crescent. For Christianity the universal symbol of our faith is the CROSS.
And the universal claim of Christ is found in John 14 verse 6, “I am the way , the truth and the life.”
Yes that would be intolerant and exclusive, if it were not true. Those pied pipers of false religions and cults would say otherwise.
Jesus alone had an EXTRAORDINARY BIRTH, LIFE, DEATH and RESURRECTION.
C.S. Lewis said, “Jesus is either liar, lunatic or Lord.”
Confess your sins and receive Jesus as your Lord because “Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to men by which we MUST be saved.” Acts 4 verse 12.
