No one has seen God at any time except Jesus. Who is Jesus?
Jesus the God-Man images God the Father perfectly. Jesus said to Philip, “If you have seen me you have seen the Father.” John 14 verse 9.
Jesus is God in the flesh. “Emmanuel God with us.” Isaiah 7 verse 14
What did Jesus come to do? He came to provide the perfect sacrifice by going to the cross and shedding His Blood for lost sinners.
The key word here is perfect. You may be a very good moral person, but no one is perfect except Christ. What must you do? Recognize that you and I are sinners and we cannot come to the Holy Father except through His Holy Son. We must confess our sins, repent of them, then cast ourselves on the perfect righteousness of Christ which He will credit to His account.
Then these 4 questions will be answered in your life:
Who is God? He will be your Heavenly Father, your ABBA, your Daddy.
Who is Jesus? He is the perfect mediator, the only one who can bring you to God the Father.
What did Jesus do? He lived, died and rose from the dead for you and your sins.
What must you do? Once again, receive this free forgiveness through the empty hands of faith.
Then you will know 1. Who God is. 2. Who Jesus is. 3. What Jesus did. 4. What you must do.
Do it now, for now is the day of salvation!!!!!! 2 Corinthians 6 verse 2
