How can it be that the Bible is the Word of God, when it talks about the speaking serpent and the talking donkey? These are myths, and Fables on the level of gnomes, leprechauns and the Tooth Fairy. We are sophisticated people who live in a high tech digital age.
How can it be, that people are expected to believe in a virgin birth? How ridiculous can you get. How can it be?
Mary asked the same thing when she was told that she would bear the Christ Child..to which the angel responded in Luke 1 verse 37 “Nothing is impossible with God.”
Christians can learn 3 things from Mary.
1.Christians should stand amazed and overwhelmed at their miraculous new birth in Christ.
2. We should say, “I am the Lord’s servant and I am at your disposal. May it be to me as you have said.” Luke 1 verse 38
3.”My soul glorifies the Lord and my spirit rejoices in God my Saviour.” Luke 1 verses 46-47
If you unwrap this God’s precious gift…this once baby wrapped in swaddling clothes, who grew up sinless, died and rose again from the dead for you, if you confess your sins and receive forgiveness through the empty hands of faith, you will receive God’s amazing love and say
HOW CAN IT BE? Answer…nothing is impossible with God.
